National Lottery Community Fund

We’re thrilled that the National Lottery Community Fund have awarded GFG a 3-year grant! The Living Well, Living Longer, Wellbeing in Merthyr Tydfil programme will enable us to provide more opportunities for everyone to increase their levels of physical activity and improve their nutrition skills. We can’t wait to get started!

Books and Banter

We are really pleased to be announcing the launch of our brand new book club – Books and Banter  – meeting the first Thursday of every month 11am-12pm – thank you to our wonderful volunteer Emma for leading on this. 

Carer’s Choir

We are starting a new Carers’ Choir – open to any carers living in Merthyr Tydfil. We will be meeting every Tuesday from 11.30 to 12.30 at the Wellbeing Centre for an uplifting singing session with Josh. Many thanks to MTCBC’s Unpaid Carers’ Alliance for funding this fabulous initiative.
