In 2018 GFG celebrated the centenary of the vote for women and women’s rights through history over the past 100 years. Our young people participated in the ‘We are 100’ march in Cardiff in honour of those women who paved the way for a better future for women.

A 5-day sail with the award winning sailing charity Challenge Wales offered an amazing opportunity for our young people to take part in a sailing experience from Cardiff bay to Portishead and back. Each participated in all duties on board and learned valuable life skills in the process.
The Phoenix Project provides opportunities for young people to take part in a wide variety of activities such as working with real life fire equipment, using specially adapted fire engines, climbing ladders and taking part in staged rescue scenarios
