Financial Support

Many people are already affected by low/no income because of zero-hour contracts, benefit delays, debt and poor health, but the cost of living crisis has made the situation worse. Accessing help can be difficult and requires a level of literacy that many people needing the support do not have. We act as a referral agency for many grants including the Buttle Trust, the Discretionary Assistance Fund, BBC Children in Need, The British Red Cross and The Family Holiday Charity. We help parents access Healthy Vouchers and baby bank equipment and we make referrals for food bank deliveries and mobile phone and fuel vouchers. The centre has free public WiFi and a public computer for job searches. We host CAB in the centre and employment and training support agencies to help job searches find their next role.
