The Gellideg Foundation Football Club is run by three volunteers, Robert McCarthy, William Baigrie (Scottie) and Kerry Delahay who put in valuable time for the Gellideg Foundation F.C.
League Table.
Well Done to the Gellideg Foundation F.C on beating Bluebirds 4-1 on Sunday 18th October 09 in the R.V Jones Cup Final. After going 1-0 down,two goals from Darren Devonshire and two from Alex provided Gellideg F.C with a well deserved win.
Open Age
Gellideg open age team had only recently re-entered into the Merthyr League 2008/2009 season and it was a great return.We would like to say a BIG WELL DONE to Robert,Scottie, Kerry and the team for winning the 2008/2009 title on the last game of the season with an impressive 7-1 victory over Bedlinhog. After going 1-0 down Gellideg struck back with goals from Jamie Devenshire(3) Kyle McCarthy(2) Robert Manning(1) and Derek Grist(1).

Under 16's Champions 2005/2006 Season
A big congratulations to the manager Robert McCarthy and assistant manager William Baigrie (Scottie) for all their hard work and for leading the club to an incredible season. The team produce a wonderful team spirit through every step of the season and not only were they successful in the end they were one of the first ever under 16’s football team’s to win the league with one of the youngest ever under 16’s squads.
