Sugar Crafting Classes
Sugar sculpture, the art of producing artistic centre pieces entirely composed of sugar and sugar derivatives. Interested?Why not come along and give it a go?

Are you interested in knitting, crochet, cross stitch, embroidery, tapestry, lace making, quilting, tatting and patch work?
Cyfarthfa Ward Communities 1st would like to support all possible craft classes iff sufficient interest is shown. So if this is your cup of tea why not come along, please contact Natalie Hall on a Wednesday or Thursday via the FACT shop in Twyncarmel on 01685 389867 to register and let us know your preferred time for a class.

Golden Age
The Golden Age class is one of our longest running classes. Olive Bedford and the golden age class have been meeting every Wednesday at St Lukes Church where they get together and socialise, play bingo and have a chat.

Healthy Walks
Come along and join us us every Monday 12.30pm and Thursday 10am at the Gellideg Foundation and enjoy the health benefits of walking and socialising. We are a friendly group of all ages who would welcome new members. For more information please view our Healthy Living Centre page.

Ynysfach Pensioners Group
If you would like to get out of the house and meet new people why not come along to Cae'r Wern community complex every wednesday between 1.30pm - 3.30pm.

Creative Crafts
Classes are held every Monday 1pm - 4pm and Thursday 10am - 1pm at Gellideg Foundation Group. A small fee of £1 is charged. If you would like a card made for someone i.e a birthday card, Mother's Day card or for any other occassion then why not call in and speak to our creative class and have your own card made for a reasonable price.

Tea Dance
A Tea Dance is held every Tuesday at St Lukes Church, Gellideg at 2pm - 4pm. You will experience a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and enjoy a dance and perhaps meet new friends.

Computer Classes
Basic computer classes are held at our Twyncarmel FACT shop every wednesday between 10am - 12pm. Classes run for serveral weeks so why not give us a call and register for the next classes.

Judo Classes
We are really fortunate to have the judo club in the Cyfarthfa Ward and many of the children who attend are really enjoying the sport and have been very successful in obtaining Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at various competitions. The club caters for both children and adults and there's a very special class for younger children.It is a disciplined sport and the children learn to belong to a team.
